Verve to release Krupa CD
Gene Krupa Plays Gerry Mulligan Arrangements Verve Records is tentatively scheduled to release the 1958 "Gene Krupa Plays Gerry Mulligan Arrangements" on CD June 8, 2004. Hopefully with this release, recorded October and November 1958, Verve will finally continue a steady issuance of the remaining unreleased Krupa Material. Excluding titles that include Buddy Rich, this release will be only the second domestic Verve Gene Krupa CD issue -- after 1987's Drummer Man.
